My Story
Matthew has spent years developing a wide-ranging skill set as both a guitarist and bassist, playing with bands across Utah and building a reputation for versatility and musical awareness. Currently studying Commercial Music at Southern Utah University, he combines formal training with real-world performance experience.

As the lead guitarist for The 8eez, he delivers the iconic guitar tones and melodic hooks that define 80s rock and pop. Whether recreating soaring solos or locking in tight rhythm parts, he approaches every show with precision, energy, and a genuine love for the era’s sound.
