Jacob

Jacob Lee brings together a composer’s precision and a performer’s intuition, giving the band a sound that’s clear, colorful, and thoughtfully shaped. His work strikes a balance

between being approachable and musically rich, informed by years of writing for groups such as the Utah Opera, the Delgani String Quartet, and Grammy-winning vocalist Estelí Gomez. He currently serves as Composer in Residence for the Orchestra of Southern Utah

and teaches in the music department at Southern Utah University.

As a performer, Jacob has worked across the Western United States with ensembles including the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the American Creators Ensemble, Enoch Rising, and Apollo’s Army.

Backed by degrees in piano performance, theory, and composition—culminating in a PhD—Jacob contributes depth and direction to the band’s overall sound.
